Heijastuksia toiseen valoon is a dance piece about love and a relationship.
Six performers, of different ages, create a life-long arc of the relationship between a man and a woman. The three duets of the piece describe a journey from innocent infatuation to the passion of first love, the relationship of middle age all the way to the shared moments of old age. The piece is built on the themes of meeting, listening and love.
The accordionist Antti Paalanen has composed the music for the piece. He brings light and shade to the atmosphere of the piece with his passionate and emotionally appealing music.
”From beginning to end Heijastuksia toiseen valoon is a exquisite and touching piece, all of its sections are beautiful and comforting.”
